Addressing the speculation, Govinda’s nephew Vinay Anand spoke about the rumours, expressing hope that the couple remains “strong and private.” He also shared his views on the ongoing discussions surrounding their family dynamics and the statements being made by them individually.

Speaking to IANS, Vinay mentioned that he 'sincerely pray that my Mama and Mami's relationship always remains strong and private. That is my only wish.' Further speaking on Sunita's remarks that Govinda does not help with the kids and the family as a whole, Vinay said that Yashwardhan (Govinda's son) is a bright kid and extremely talented. "If my aunt has expressed something, then I would gently tell my uncle to pay attention, because I would never speak wrongly about either of them." For the unversed, internet had a buzz around Govind's alleged affair with a woman named Komal.

When Govinda called himself and his family 'victim' to conspiracies

During one of the interviews with ANI, Govinda has called his family victim "to the well-planned conspiracy by someone, and a separation surfaces." He further mentioned that his wife sometimes get worried about the family reputation and the household since many of his projects did not get a market to release them. "I was told that the people in my family might be unknowingly involved, and they won't realise that they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy... But she [Sunita] can never think that she herself has been unknowingly placed in a big conspiracy, with her being thrown into the field as the opening batsman," he said.
