Maine Pyaar Kiya actress said, "In our times, he was the king of every girl's heart. A lovely, innocent brave farmer from Punjab who was filled with emotions, who wrote so well, he was so sentimental, a true hero in all senses. The news of his passing is so heartbreaking, he became such a big star with his simplicity, and that's how he will always be remembered too." Further, she added, "His charm, his simplicity, his voice... my heartfelt condolences to Sunny, Bobby, all his family members from my side." "He made a big contribution in our film world, may his soul rest in peace," the actress concluded.
