Soon, fans flooded his DM asking for uppdates on the second season of India's Got Latent. Surprising the fans and officially confirming that the shoot for India's Got Latent is currently underway, Samay shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the shoot. The BTS pic shared by Samay shows him holding a mic with comedian Balraj Ghai standing nearby. Comedian Aashish Solanki was also partially visible in the frame, hinting at his return. The faces of other panel members were hidden to keep fans guessing.

The post came after fans flooded his DMs asking for an update on the show. Samay had gone quiet about it for months, but the picture confirmed that shooting is indeed underway.Earlier, a leaked photo from India's Got Latent Season 2 set also went viral, showing Alpha stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari seated on the panel alongside Balraj Singh Ghai and Aashish Solanki. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the image sent fans into a frenzy. India's Got Latent was one of the biggest YouTube shows to come out of India in recent times. It launched in June 2024 and ran for 12 episodes plus bonus content, quickly building a massive and loyal fanbase.However, the show was pulled offline in February 2025 after a major controversy involving guest Ranveer Allahbadia, whose remarks triggered nationwide outrage and led to multiple FIRs. Many thought the show was gone for good. In April 2026, Samay addressed everything in his stand-up special Still Alive and announced that Season 2 will happen.
