actor Govinda's wife Ssunita Ahuja has reportedly signed her first film. The project is said to be presented by Balaji Motion Pictures and produced by Ekta Kapoor. This comes while she was already making headlines which revolved around her divorce rumous with the actor ahead of cheating allegations which later made the him issue a statement calling it baseless and a result of 'big controversy'. For the unversed, the couple got married in the year 1987.

India Today, Ssunita Ahuja has signed her first film with Balaji Motion Pictures. The film will be produced by Ekta Kapoor and the to-be actress will shoot for 20 days as she will be seen in a pivotal role. Though not much information has been revealed by the sources right now, this has sparked further conversations while maintaining her spot in the limelight of entertainment updates.

Married in the late 1980s, Govinda and Ssunita Ahuja have always been an inspiration when it comes to long-lasting marriages. But lately rumours of the actor's extra-marital affairs surfaced on the internet which further accelerated to her divorce. While ending the year, she had also addressed the possibility of an affair as she boldly mentioned that as per her, she is not an actress but some random girl who just wants his money. Furthermore, she prayed for a peaceful 2026 and hoped Chi Chi put an end to all the speculations because she 'wants a happy family in 2026'. Apart from this, during another statement, Ahuja had also slammed the actor of not being a good husband but only 'A good son and a good brother'. She also accused her husband of neglecting her and not giving her enough time due to his hectic schedule.She has also said that the three most important women in his life are his mother, his wife, and his daughter, and that no one should allow a fourth woman into their lives.
When Govinda reacted to the controversy
Last month, on January 18, Govinda broke his silence on the controversy and allegations calling it a 'big conspiracy'. He had explained, "Today, I'm responding. I was told that the people in my family might be unknowingly involved, and they won't realise that they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy."The couple also has two children, a daughter named Tina, and a son, Yashvardhan.
