Anant Joshi Replaces Vaibhav Raj Gupta

Gullak 5 will see Anant Joshi playing the role of Annu. He has replaced Vaibhav Raj Gupta, who won many hearts with his iconic role. The cast also includes Harsh Mayar, Sunita Rajwar, Gopal Dutt, Helly Shah and Manuj Sharma in pivotal roles. TVF header, Vijay Koshy, in a statement said that, Gullak has been growing closer to the audience with every season. The seaosn 5 will show the changing realities of middle class people in India while holding onto the warmth and simplicity. It will make the show even more special. He said, “This season is about growth, change, and the bittersweet feeling of moving forward while staying connected to your roots.” As far as Gullak 5’s release date is concerned, the show will start streaming on SonyLIV on June 5, 2026. For the unversed, Gullak’s first season was released in 2019. The show’s unique yet relatable storyline touched the hearts of the Indian audience. Gullak has a special fan base in India.
