Aanand L Rai shares, “After our last film, there were emotions we couldn’t shake off. Dhanush and I kept returning to that space, exploring what happens to love when innocence fades, and time changes people. Tere Ishk Mein grew out of that unresolved thought."For Aanand L Rai, Tere Ishk Mein is not just another love story; it’s a reflection of where both he and his characters stand today, older, scarred, and still searching for something deeper.The renowned director has also revealed that the film shares thematic connections with his 2013 hit Raanjhanaa. “It’s from the world of Raanjhanaa, but more of an expansion than a continuation. It deepens the emotional core with a fresh narrative,” he explained.
