Ranveer Singh Reveals He And Aditya Dhar Were At Similar Stage In Life During Dhurandhar: He Had Baby Boy, I Had Baby Girl

launch of the ambitious project, Ranveer applauded his director for his vision while also recalling how they both were at a similar stage in life when they started working on the film.The Simmba star opened up about his and Aditya's respective personal journeys, sharing, "We were at a very similar stage in life when we met for this film. Over the past two years, we have both grown together. He had a baby boy, I had a baby girl. We worked to make sure that our team, our families, our audience are proud of what we have made."Further, stressing that Dhurandhar is a never-seen-before attempt in Hindi cinema, Ranveer added, "When we were talking about it, I said 'Sir aisi Hindi cinema mein bani nahin hai' (and) he was like 'I know that bro, that's exactly what I am trying'. Toh ye hai lambi chalaang aur aapne jo maari hai Sir."He continued, "We used to discuss Sicario, Zero Dark Thirty, Munic, American Gangster; we want to be counted amongst the most elite instalments in the genre in the world. We are Hindi cinema, we are Indian cinema and we are here to make our country proud."

The newly released Dhurandhar trailer introduces Arjum Rampal, Akshaye Khann, and Sanjay Dutt as the ultra violent and ruthless villains with ulterior motives towards India. Ranveer Singh is tasked with protecting the country with R Madhavan behind him.Also featuring Sara Arjun, Dhurandhar will open in theatres on December 5.
