Things Season 5 Vol. 1 marked its big release on Netflix on November 26 (November 27 in India). After weeks of intense buzz, intriguing trailers and promotional material about what's set to unfold in the story ahead, its creators the Duffer Brothers also teased fans with the titles of its first four episodes. While 3 out of them hinted a lot about the upcoming plot, the name of one episode - The Vanishing Of... was the most talked about. Stranger Things Season 5 Vol. 1 episode 2 is - The Vanishing Of Holly Wheeler!The episode, as the title says, deals with the youngest member of the Wheeler family, Holly's disappearance.

Who is Holly Wheeler?

Holly Wheeler is the third and youngest child of Wheelers. She's the younger sister of Mike and Nancy, and has so far made small appearances in the background in the previous seasons. In the episode, whe is shown to be taken away by a Demogorgon who attacks the Wheeler house, injuring the parents, leaving her father Joe in a coma and mother Karen brutally injured. Holly is basically abducted by Vecna and taken to the Henry house in the guise of "protecting" her from the "monsters" who are plaguing Hawkins, as told to her by Vecna. The big villain sets the trap for Holly after appearing infront of her for days, not as Vecna but Henry, a "friend" only she can see.

Why does Vecna not torture Holly?

Unlike Will Byers, who gets tormented by Vecna in the Upside Down, and even after his return to the real world, Vecna (Henry) is rather caring towards Holly. She is kept in Creel house from the 1950s as Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) hosts her as a suited Henry.

When did makers hint at Holly's fate in previous season?

If we go back to its Season 1, soon after Will vanishes in episode 1, Holly was shown to accompany her mother Karen when she goes to meet and console his mother Joyce.
