BTS is currently on a spree of impressing their Mexico ARMY. Right from their landing in the country, as part of the ongoing ARIRANG World Tour, to setting the stage on fire during the three-night sold-out concerts, everything RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are doing is making headlines. But little did fans expect what they did when off the stage. They turned to wrestling, at least in the audience, something nobody saw coming. On May 9, videos and photos flooded social media, showing Jin, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook enjoying a Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre wrestling match at the iconic Arena México in Mexico City. But it was their masks that left global ARMY shocked. This comes after the OT7 greeted over 50,000 fans from the balcony
of the National Palace after meeting President Claudia Sheinbaum.

On Saturday, striking content featuring the four BTS members went viral on the internet. The band, seemingly on a short break from the gruelling preparations, made the most of the tour stop. Infact Jin, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook donned masks in the audience, presumably to keep their identity under wraps and avoid diverting attention from the game. Interestingly, Jimin wore a mask representing the wrestler Místico, who showed support by wearing a custom jacket featuring the BTS logo and members' names. CMLL wrestler Místico entered the ring and greeted and hugged the K-pop idols after the match.
Jin almost gets punched
The highlight of the match was when Jin almost got punched! It so happened that an opposing wrestler was punched and fell into the laps of Jin and Jimin near the audience barricade after being booed by the group. Fans on social media gasped at the thought of the bandmates getting hurt, but luckily, it just became a viral moment.
ARMYs react with funny comments
ARMYs flooded X (formerly Twitter) with reactions seeing Jin, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook's surprise attendance. A user wrote, "How do they expect us to compete with this!!? What does the universe want from the rest of LATAM if all this is happening in Mexico? Life of kings and so much love for our Tannies.
A fan reacted, "Omg.. great camouflage from the boys.. Very smart moves!! What abt those people behind them !! I will recognise. Jimin’s blond hair or maybe JK tattoos hand unless he’s wearing gloves hahaha but so glad they had a day off to enjoy some outside entertainment" Another one laughed, "We are in this too deep The fact that we’re able to immediately tell who’s who while they’re in full masks Jimin and JK are a dead giveaway, then Yoongi and Jin just from their posture"BTS kicked off its Mexico leg at the Estadio GNP Seguros (formerly Foro Sol) in Mexico City on May 7. It will return to the stage on May 9 and May 10, 2026.
