29 years after Border, the war drama's sequel, Border 2, is ready to release in theatres. Starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, the film is set to arrive on January 23, 2026.
A few days ago, the makers launched Border 2's music album and its official trailer. And now, the runtime of Border 2 has reportedly been revealed. According to a media report, the war drama's runtime is only few minutes less than Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar. The spy-thriller was theatrically released on December 5, 2025.
Border 2's runtime revealed?
Bollywood Hungama has reported that Border 2's runtime is 3 hours and 19 minutes long. However, an official confirmation from the makers is awaited. The report also suggests that the distributors have asked for all shows for Border 2 in single screens for consecutive two weeks.
Additionally, the makers have reportedly requested multiplexes with 4, 5 and 6 screens to play 14 shows, 16 shows and 18 shows, respectively for Border 2. And for other theatres with 7 or more screens, the requirement is apparently for 20 shows."Border 2 is 3 hours and 19 minutes long. This means that the gap between the two shows in most cinemas would be four hours. Assuming 4 shows of Border 2 are played daily, one can say that even three-screen cinemas will allot all shows to Border 2 and to no other film, provided they follow the directive," a source told the entertainment portal.
