Recently, a netizen shared a video of Amaal dancing with Tanya Mittal on Bigg Boss 19. The netizen stated that Amaal and Tanya's 'real chemistry' started from that task. That's when the music composer set the record straight and requested to stop linking him with Tanya.

Reacting to the video, Amaal took to his X (formerly Twitter) account and stated that it was only a task. The music composer mentioned that if the show requires people to pair up for a task and do a dance skit, they have to. "That’s the channel creative and you guys are constantly making this into some nonsensical romance. I am grateful to @itanyamittal for the care & concern she has had for me in this season," he wrote.

Amaal admitted that he has said things that must have hurt Tanya and her fandom. He later apologised for whatever he did in anger to poke the content creator.
