The
grand audio launch of Vijay's farewell film Jana Nayagan will take place in Malaysia on 27 December. With only a day left, Vijay, his mother Shoba Chandrasekhar were spotted at the airport, leaving to the Asian country. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander, director Nelson Dilipkumar, actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva and popular singers who are set to perform at the event jetted off to be part of the gala event.
Vijay Jets Off To Malaysia Ahead Of Jana Nayagan Grand Audio Launch
Vijay was seen waving to fans before of his entry into the airport. Speaking to the media, Anirudh Ravichander expressed his excitement for the audio launch and said that it is being held at a big scale. It has to be noted that 80,000 people will be in attendance. Nelson Dilipkumar who helmed Vijay's Beast and Atlee, who directed his Bigil and Theri were leaving the country to attend the event.
In an previous interview regarding the event, Anirudh Ravichander said, "I'm confident that the audio launch will be extravagant. It's an open stadium and I will be performing a tribute for him with the songs I've made for his films as a medley. Since it's his last audio launch, we'll try to make it a fulfilling experience fitting for his send off." He also revealed that the tribute will have songs from their hits Kaththi, Master, Leo, and Beast.
Singers To Perform At Jana Nayagan Audio Launch
Singers SPB Charan, Tippu, Anuradha Sriram, Andrea Jeremiah, Saindhavi, Yogi B, Harish Raghavendra and more. With audiences from across the world expected to arrive to Bukit Jalil Stadium, the makers have reportedly arranged a 10-hour-long music festival to enthrall audiences.
Directed by H Vinoth, Jana Nayagan is said to revolve around Vijay’s role as a police officer, with Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol playing pivotal roles. The ensemble cast further features Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj and Narain. Plot details have not been revealed yet. For the unversed, the film will mark Vijay's final film in the industry before his full-fledged entry to politics.
