Things season 5 is set to bring curtains down on a story that the Duffer Brothers kicked off almost 10 years ago. The show is now nearing its big finale, and the trailer hints at a massive showdown between the people of Hawkins and Vecna. The central characters have reached this far in their attempts to end Upside Down once and for all, after a lot of deaths, sacrifices and fan theories.While season 5 takes place 18 months after the events of season 4, we'll see most of its actors returning. Just to trigger your memory cells, here's a list of all the major characters who will come back to join forces against the demonic forces and save their hometown.

Millie Bobby Brown - Eleven

Millie plays a girl with telepathic and psychokinetic abilities who was initially a test subject of Dr. Brenner at Hawkins National Laboratory. She becomes the main fighter against Vecna even in season 5.

Finn Wolfhard - Mike Wheeler

One of the main characters of the lead group, Mike sometimes even acts as its leader. He is intelligent and committed to his friends, who later dates Eleven. In season 5, he seems to acquire an important role in making the action plan.

Noah Schnapp - Will Byers

Will became the first victim who gets captured by a monster from the Upside Down in the very first episode of season 1. Ever since, he's developed a connection to the alternate dimension and the Mind Flayer due to his capture. In season 5, he'd get summoned by Vecna again. Fans believe he might also die!

Gaten Matarazzo - Dustin Henderson

Despite his cleidocranial dysplasia, he was crucial to the group. We saw how he and his girlfriend, Suzie joined hands (and voices) in Season 4 in the fight against Vecna. Hearbroken after the death of his friend Eddie Munson, Dustin might get into revenge mode.

Caleb McLaughlin - Lucas Sinclair

Initially wary of Eleven, Lucas later befriends her. He becomes Max's love interest and joins the Hawkins High basketball team. In season 4, he had Max's back and is left bruised when she returns in a compromising state from the clutches of Vecna. Lucas will do his best to save Max this time.

Sadie Sink - Max Mayfield

The outside, who becomes a core group member. In season 4, she becomes one of the teens who is targeted by Vecna, ultimately fighting him and ending up in a coma. Though not enough is knwn whether she'll come out of coma or stay there, but her life surely seems in danger.

Winona Ryder - Joyce Byers

Joyce is not done saving her sons Will and Jonathan. She will return to be at the forefront of fight to save them, especially Will in the Upside Down, even picking up arms against demogorgons, demo-dogs and more.

David Harbour - Jim Hopper

His experience as the chief of Hawkins Police Department has come handy so far. He will team up with his adoptive daughter Eleven in demolishing the Upside Down. He's one of the strongest forces at Hawkins.

Joe Keery - Steve Harrington

The popular character is returning, but seemingly in danger, as stated by fan theories. The beloved "babysitter" of the group might just give his life to save the group, especially his good friend Dustin, if speculation is to be believed.

Natalia Dyer - Nancy Wheeler

We saw Nancy's strength after shed she away her demure image in season 4. Her attempts at investigating the Hawkins Lab, the death of her friend Barbara and targetting Vecna will continue. Though she might lose someone dear to her.

Charlie Heaton - Jonathan Byers

His quiet and kind-hearted image changed after season 4. Now, he's at the forefront of the fight. He'd continue to e by her girlfriend Nancys side.

Maya Hawke - Robin Buckley

Priah Ferguson - Erica Sinclair

Kucas' smart little sister is no longer small. She's grown up into an intelligent teenager who keeps a lot of silliness in the group at bay by her quirky remarks and no-bars-attached warnings.

Brett Gelman - Murray Bauman

From a side character to a crucial one, he is now a close confidante of Hopper and Joyce. He'd have an important role in season 5 as well.

Jamie Campbell Bower - Henry Creel / One / Vecna

Last but not the least, it is Jamie coming back as Vecna. The murderous psychic being from the Upside Down with supernatural abilities is another failed experiment of Dr. Brenner. He's now out to destroy Hawkins and his mayhem is not for the weak hearted. It's the big fight against him to the finishing line.The first four episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 Vol. 1 will premiere on November 26.
