Lexi Minetree headlines the series, taking on the role originally made famous by Reese Witherspoon in the early 2000s films. Witherspoon herself is an executive producer through her Hello Sunshine banner, ensuring continuity in tone and spirit. She was one of the forces behind selecting Lexi for the role.

The supporting cast features June Diane Raphael as Elle’s mother Eva and Tom Everett Scott as her father Wyatt.
