Saloni Batra Confirms Return In Animal 2; Talks About Struggles As Outsider – EXCLUSIVE

Actress Saloni Batra has recently featured in the Amazon MX Player web series, Bhay. She has also been a part of the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, in which she played the role of his elder sister. Animal was

a big hit at the box office, and the makers are now planning to start shooting for its sequel, which is tentatively titled Animal Park aka Animal 2. In an exclusive interaction with Zoom, Saloni Batra admitted that she will be a part of the Animal sequel. The Soni actress also talked about the struggles as an outsider in the industry. According to her, it is very difficult for an outsider to survive in the showbiz.

Saloni Batra gets candid

During a candid conversation with us, Saloni Batra opened up about the struggles of outsiders in the industry. She said, “It's been a series of learning ups and downs. It's not been a simple straight road. I believe that life is like that for everybody. Because you don't come from that backing, we have our different set of struggles, which are quite scary sometimes. I have learnt a lot along the journey.”

“I am happy to have gone through this process because it has taught me a lot. I found my calling when I came to Mumbai. I didn't even want to become an actor. I come from a design background. Whenever I work, I always remember the feeling of my first day when I faced the camera for the first time. I want to keep going even if I am put down by anybody or circumstance in life. It is difficult. It is mentally taxing,” Saloni Batra added. When asked if she is a part of Animal 2, Saloni Batra confirms her casting in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer. The actress said, “I will be there in Animal 2. People liked Animal; hence, makers want to make this kind of cinema for entertainment and action. It is good for the box office and for us as well.” Talking about Bhay, the web series also stars Kalki Koechlin, Karan Tacker and Danish Sood in key roles. Stay tuned for more updates!
