Produced on modest budget, the film has already recovered its entire investment, earning Rs 10 crore through strong box office collections. Following the strong word-of-mouth, Superstar Rajinikanth personally met the cast and crew to congratulate them, adding to the film’s buzz. The film is directed by Madhan in his debut, produced by Superstar's daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth.

Rajinikanth-Praised With Love: Abishan Jeevinth and Anaswara Rajan Film Recovers Budget

With Love opened to positive audience response, and its first Monday proved the film’s strong hold. The romantic drama collected an estimated Rs 1.33 crore on day four, dropping just 16.87 percent from the opening day’s Rs 1.6 crore. The film’s consistent collections have made it Kollywood’s second hit of 2026, following Jiiva's Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil.

Despite big releases like Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi and Karthi's Vaa Vaathiyaar underperforming, With Love proved that well-crafted small films can perform strongly at the box office. Its relatable storyline, appealed to new-gen audience. Made on a budget of Rs 4 crore, With Love has earned Rs 10 crore, effectively recovering 100% of its cost. The film’s success shows audience appreciation for content-driven cinema.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Praises With Love

Following the film’s success, Superstar Rajinikanth personally met the cast and crew. The meeting was extra special as Soundarya Rajinikanth, one of the co-producers, was thrilled to hear praise from her father. She was stopped alongside producer Magesh Raj Pasilian, lead actors Abishan and Anaswara, and composer Sean Roldan.

Soundarya shared the moment on social media, calling it “priceless” and describing it as a gesture of encouragement from the legend. Abishan has acknowledged Rajinikanth’s influence on his career, recalling when the superstar addressed him as a “hero,” which helped him take the role.

With Love marks the directorial debut of Madhan and features Abishan Jeevinth in his first lead role after Tourist Family. Anaswara Rajan marks her third Tamil film.
