have now sought criminal action, alleging that the will at the centre of the dispute is a clear and deliberate forgery.As per sources close to Times Now, Karisma Kapoor’s children have moved the court claiming that the disputed will suffers from serious procedural irregularities and was never legally executed in Gurugram, as stated in official records. Sources further allege that witnesses have confirmed the will was not signed in Gurugram, raising grave doubts over its authenticity.

The children have reportedly told the court that the will is an “unambiguous forgery”, insisting that it fails to meet basic legal requirements under succession law. They have also urged the court to seize the mobile phones of Priya Kapur and Sunjay Kapur, claiming that digital evidence could help establish the truth behind how and where the will was prepared and executed.Legal expert Abha Singh, speaking to the publication, explained the legal recourse available in such cases, stating, “There is a provision under the law that you can challenge the will. That is what Karisma is doing.” She added that the burden now lies on the proponents of the will to prove its validity in a court of law.

Sources close to the case reiterate that any will must be proved through strict legal scrutiny, including verification of signatures, witnesses, and location of execution.
