2 has become the first-ever Bollywood film to enter the Rs 1,000 crore club in India. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie has shattered several box office records and has now achieved a significant milestone. Within 18 days, the Ranveer Singh-starrer surpassed the Rs 1,000 crore mark (net) at the domestic box office. According to early estimates, the movie collected Rs 34.44 crore on day 18 at the ticket window. And with these earnings, it is set to dethrone Prabhas and Rana Daggubati's Baahubali 2's record. The film collected Rs 1,030.42 crore (net) at the Indian box office.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Dhurandhar The Revenge minted Rs 34.44 crore on day 18. Considering that, the 18-day total collection stands at Rs 1,013.77 crore (net), while the Indian gross collection is Rs 1,213.74 crore. It is to be noted that Ranveer's spy thriller has consistently performed well, and maintained good momentum at the ticket windows.

For the unversed, Dhurandhar 2 has not only achieved a new milestone, but it is ready to take over SS Rajamouli-directed Baahubali 2's lifetime record. The Sukumar directorial did a box office business of Rs 1,234.10 crore (net) in India.Earlier, when Dhurandhar 2 broke Baahubali 2's US box office record, Rana Daggubati told Variety India, "It’s good. It’s a decade later, but it’s still very good. I think we’re all still touching the tip of the iceberg." He continued to praise Dhurandhar 2 and Baahubali, however, the actor maintained that rooted storytelling will be able to resonate far across.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, Mustafa Ahmed revealed thatDhurandhar 2's success hasn't changed Aditya Dhar. "You can see like he's away from all of this. He doesn't care what he has created. He's somewhere enjoying himself with the family. Very few people that he hangs around with, very few people are his friends," he said. The actor, who plays Rizwan in second installment, added that Aditya really makes his people feel special.
