Asha Bhosle Passes AwayThe iconic playback star, known for evergreen songs like Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko, Dil Cheez Kya Hai, Yeh Mera Dil, and In Aankhon Ki Masti, passed away on Sunday (April 12) due to multiple organ failure. The sad news of her demise was confirmed by son Anand. Earlier this month, she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital after suffering from a chest infection and severe fatigue. Her last rites took place on April 13 and were attended by many Bollywood stars, cricketers, and other notable personalities. Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Sachin Tendulkar, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and others had come for the antim darshan.The Padma Vibhushan awardee was later laid to rest with full state honours.
