A few weeks ago, Seven Screen Studio, took to social media platforms to unveil the film's title, along with a brand new poster. It featured Nayantara and Kavin in a fresh avatar. Going by the image, it looked like the film with explore the dynamics between two people who bond over a factor that they deeply care for. The post from Zee Studios read "HI :)A word, a spark, a story. The first look of #HiMovie starring #Nayanthara & @Kavin_m_0431Hi marks the directorial debut of Vishnu Edavan, a former assistant to Lokesh Kanagaraj. On the technical front, cinematography is by Rajesh Shukla, editing by Philomin Raj, music by Jen Martin, and art and stunt direction by Sekar B and Dinesh Kasi, respectively. Hi is produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Productions, along with Rowdy Pictures and Zee Studios.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara, who was last seen in the Netflix movie Test alongside Madhavan and Siddharth, will turn into a goddess once again in Mookuthi Amman 2, directed by Sundar C. She will also be seen in NBK111, Patriot, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, and Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Some of her other projects inclue Rakkayie, Mannangatti Since 1960, and Dear Students.
