August earlier this year, Tamil actress Nivetha Pethuraj took to social media to share a major update about her personal life. She announced her relationship with Dubai-based businessman Rajhith Ibran by posting PDA-filled pictures. Nivetha who is known to keep her personal life away from the media was set to marry Ranjhith later this year. According to sources, the wedding was to be an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family.

Now within five months since the announcement, the actress, who made a mark in both Tamil and Telugu cinema, has deleted the pictures with her fiancé. Nivetha Pethuraj's move has fueled speculations that their wedding is off. Reportedly, Nivetha Pethuraj and Rajhith Ibran have unfollowed each other on social media platforms as well. Rajhith Ibran is following only two people. The latter has also deleted pictures with Nivetha. This recent social media activity are created curiosity among fans.Rajhith Ibran was previously in a relationship with Bigg Boss Tamil fame Julie. The reality show contestant recently announced her engagement with business man Mohamed Ikreem.

In Telugu cinema, she featured in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo alongside Allu Arjun for which she received appreciation from the audiences. Recently Nivetha Pethuraj was spotted during a rally by animal welfare activists in support of street dogs in Chennai. The actress said that “there is fearmongering happening in the reporting of stray dog attacks”. She went on to admit that dog bites and rabies are serious and harmful, but said "We must not let fear drive the narrative. If a dog bite occurs in an area, it’s turned into a major issue instead of focusing on solutions.”
