Arnold, lead singer of the rock band 3 Doors Down passed away yesterday, February 7, four months after announcing that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of 47. The band had shared an official statement confirming his death on their social media handle mentioning that the founder 'passed away peacefully'. As a result, all scheduled performances have been cancelled. For the unversed, the band debuted in 2000 and now consists of Chet Roberts, Justin Biltonen, Greg Upchurch and Chris Henderson. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer.

Brad Arnold was a founding member of 3 Doors Down. He was the band's lead singer and former drummer. Formed in 1996, the band is known for the hit songs Kryptonite, Here Without You, and When I'm Gone. Among many, two of their songs namely Kryptonite and When I'm Gone received Grammy nominations. After years of big hits with the group, In 2020, Arnold released a single entitled Wicked Man as a solo artist.

Brad announced his battle to cancer on May 5, 2025 with a video message that summed up to 'It's Not My Time' where he referred to the band's 2008 single. He spoke about his stage 4 clear cell renal cell carcinoma, a form of kidney cancer that had escalated to his lungs.
