Ikkis, headlined by Agastya Nanda, is slated to release in theatres on December 25, the makers announced on Monday. Produced by Maddock Films under Dinesh Vijan, the film is directed by Sriram Raghavan
and written by Raghavan along with Arijit Biswas and Pooja Ladha Surti. The makers have now unveiled the poster of veteran actor Dharmendra, who portrays the father of a 21-year-old immortal soldier.

The announcement was made on Instagram with a poster featuring the film’s release date. The caption read, "On 25th December, bravery marches into cinemas. Dharmendra’s Role Revealed
The makers also unveiled a new poster featuring veteran actor Dharmendra. The caption read, "Fathers raise sons. Legends raise nations. Dharmendra ji, an emotional powerhouse as the father of a 21-year-old immortal soldier. One timeless legend brings us the story of another."
Dharmendra plays the father of 21-year-old Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, bringing emotional depth and gravitas to the narrative.

Ikkis.In the film, the 24-year-old actor portrays the young soldier who was martyred at the age of 21 during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. For his extraordinary bravery, Khetarpal was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, becoming the youngest recipient of India’s highest military honour at that time.Joining Nanda and Dharmendra in the cast are acclaimed actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikander Kher, further strengthening the film’s ensemble.
