Ikkis: Dharmendra Portrays Father Of Agastya Nanda, 21-Year-Old Immortal Soldier

Ikkis, headlined by Agastya Nanda, is slated to release in theatres on December 25, the makers announced on Monday. Produced by Maddock Films under Dinesh Vijan, the film is directed by Sriram Raghavan

and written by Raghavan along with Arijit Biswas and Pooja Ladha Surti. The makers have now unveiled the poster of veteran actor Dharmendra, who portrays the father of a 21-year-old immortal soldier.

The announcement was made on Instagram with a poster featuring the film’s release date. The caption read, "On 25th December, bravery marches into cinemas. Agastya Nanda, who made his acting debut in 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies also starring Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Mihir Ahuja takes on the role of Arun Khetarpal in Ikkis.In the film, the 24-year-old actor portrays the young soldier who was martyred at the age of 21 during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. For his extraordinary bravery, Khetarpal was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, becoming the youngest recipient of India’s highest military honour at that time.Joining Nanda and Dharmendra in the cast are acclaimed actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikander Kher, further strengthening the film’s ensemble.
