Ariana's co-star Cynthia Erivo stepped up and protected her after Wen came and tried to put his arm around the Grammy winner. After he was escorted away by security, Wen tried to get on the red carpet again. Later, he posted a video thanking Ariana and stating that he was "free." Wen, who goes by the name of Pyjamaman on Instagram, has also shared other such incidents of himself on his page. He has gone on stage at the concerts of Katy Perry, The Weeknd, and The Chainsmokers. The young man has also disrupted sporting events and tried to get at Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on two separate occasions on the pitch.
