Suvinder
Vicky’s ability to transform into characters that straight hit home with authenticity makes him an actor loved by all. Creating a space for each role in the hearts of millions, his potential to breathe life into fictional people garnered acclaim over the past few years. While Kohrra came as a career-changing show for Suvinder, Glory has put him on a higher pedestal. The recently released Netflix series directed by Karan Anshuman won him critical acclaim. He plays the role of a boxer named Raghubir Singh. The climax revealed a twist that was unpredictable.
Suvinder Vicky on Glory's ending
In an exclusive interview with us (Zoom), Suvinder revealed that he was not aware of
Glory’s ending. “
Mujhe bilkul idea nahi tha kyunki ending ke alag alag drafts bane hue the. Jab pehli baar maine unse baat ki thi tab teesre draft chal raha tha. Maine Karan se pucha ki kuch toh bhej do. Tabhi aisa kuch nahi tha usmein,” he said. (Translation: I had no idea about the ending because there were multiple drafts of Glory. When I met Karan for the first time, he was working on the third script. I asked him for the script and it did not have this ending.)
He added, “
Main script end ke basis pe nahi sign karta. (Translation: I never sign a project, prioritising its conclusion. I am not bothered whether my character dies, kills someone or does not return in the next season. For me, the process of playing the character matters. Rest all shall fall in place.) Suvinder further shared, “I was not aware of the ending.
Kuch cheezein actor ko pata na ho toh hi accha hota hai. Phir tension shuru ho jati hai ki agle mein rahunga ya nahi.” (Translation: I was not aware of the ending. I believe actors should not know everything. Then, they get conscious about the future of the character.)
