Farhan Akhtar is currently gearing up for the theatrical release of his movie, 120 Bahadur. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the film is based on the Battle of Rezang La, fought between Indian and Chinese soldiers.
The film has been scheduled for a big-screen release on November 21, 2025. Ahead of that, Farhan has revealed how his father Javed Akhtar reacted after watching the movie. In an interview, the actor shared that his dad got teary-eyed after watching the film.
Javed Akhtar's reaction to 120 Bahadur
In an interview with India Today, Farhan revealed his father Javed's reaction to his upcoming film 120 Bahadur. The actor said, "He loved it. He's seen the film. He's seen the film in an edit as well. He was very moved. He's not somebody who cries very easily when he's watching a film. But he was very, very teary and very, very choked up at the end. So we really felt like we've managed to do something."And while his father Javed has watched the film, his sister Zoya Akhtar is yet to watch 120 Bahadur. In the same interview, the 120 Bahadur star revealed that Zoya will enjoy watching the film on November 19 with the rest of film industry.
