makers of Border 2 have released Ahan Shetty's intense first-look poster, where he will be seen portraying an Indian Navy officer in JP Dutta’s upcoming war drama. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa. Bollywood celebrities were quick to praise Ahan’s avatar, flooding social media with admiration.

The moment Ahan dropped his poster, it went viral across social media. The powerful image shows him as a battle-ready Navy officer, his face smeared with blood, gripping a weapon with fierce determination. This reveal follows earlier character posters of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh, who essays the role of an Indian Air Force officer.Ahan captioned the post: “Sarhad ho ya Samandar… Dharti Maa ka har beta ek hi kasam nibhaata hai.” He also reminded fans that Border 2 hits cinemas on January 23, 2026.

Legacy of the Original Border

The first Border (1997), based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war, showcased the heroic Battle of Longewala, where a small Indian battalion bravely held off a massive enemy assault. Led by Sunny Deol, the film became one of Indian cinema’s most iconic war dramas.
