Raja Saab brings back Rebel Star Prabhas on screen, and that too in his first ever attempt at the horror comedy genre. Directed by Maruthi, the light-hearted entertainer, as many call it, also stars Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. The pan-India film, which released on January 9, has been at the top of the trends due to its huge anticipation and the strong support of Prabhas' massive fandom. While many managed to watch the movie early upon its release, many others are now awaiting its release on the OTT platforms, despite mixed reviews.

The Raja Saab OTT Release Details

According to a report by OTT Play, The Raja Saab managed to secure a massive post-theatrical OTT deal with JioHotstar much before its theatrical release. This comes after several leading streaming platforms vied to buy its digital rights. However, JioHotstar succeeded in grabbing the deal.

The exact date of its OTT release is yet to be officially announced. However, the standard and widely accepted theatrical-to-OTT release window in India is typically eight weeks (two months), though a three-month window is often preferred by the makers. Hence, one can assume The Raja Saab is expected to premiere digitally around mid 2026.

The Raja Saab is a Telugu film that blends horror with fantasy and comedy. It is a departure for Prabhas from his otherwise action-packed, high-octane and intense movies.
