is the best time of the year for all the binge-watchers and OTT lovers! Netflix India is unveiling its full 2026 lineup today, February 3. Netflix originals, big films, and returning as well as new series will fill up the streaming giant's 2026 calendar. While some stars might make their OTT debut, new faces can also be launched. Jamie Lever and Aparshakti Khurana have turned hosts for the event. Netflix India's 2026 slate

Since yesterday, Netflix is reposting stories from many celebs including Sunny Deol, Jimmy Shergill, Vijay Varma, Madhuri Dixit, Rohit Saraf, Kapil Sharma, Triptii Dimri and R Madhavan. Many of these celebs ae expected to feature in various projects to be announced today. Some of them are attending the Netflix event today. Comedian Kapil Sharma, in his signature style, made the audience laugh on the stage. He hosts The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix and was present with the full star cast of the show.

Madhuri Dixit stars in Maa Behen

Madhuri Dixit is back after Mrs Serial Killer, this time with Triptii Dimri. The show is an out and out comedy. When Rekha and her daughters, Jaya and Sushma, the centre of all attention in their conservative locality, find themselves in the middle of a situation with a dead body in their kitchen, the perpetually struggling, constantly squabbling ‘Maa-Behen’ trio must team up to cover up the ‘crime’.

The series also stars Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan and social media star Dharnaa Durga.

Lust Stories Season 3 announced

Lust Stories 3 marks the return of the International Emmy–nominated anthology with four new chapters helmed by some of Indian cinema’s most distinctive voices: Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj.

Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vijay Varma and Abhishek Banerjee, Gurfateh Pirzada, Sana Thampi, Ali Fazal, Radhika Madan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth make up the key cast.

Maamla Legal Hai returns for Season 2

Our favourite lawyers from Patparganj are back but this time the leader of the pack, VD Tyagi is a judge! Newly appointed judge Tyagi comes face-to-face with the reality of being a judge, while the quirky lawyers of Patparganj Court bring strange cases, odd clients, and personal drama. Season 2 comes after the immense love season 1 got.

The comedy series will star Ravi Kishan, Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grrewal, Anant Joshi, Anjum Batra, Kusha Kapila and Dinesh Lal Yadav.

Netflix Unveils the Season 5 of The Great Indian Kapil Show

After four blockbuster seasons uniting the world’s biggest stars with millions of fans, The Great Indian Kapil Show returns with Season 5- expanding its beloved comedy universe into a riotous new 'mastiverse' of laughter and surprises, packed with spontaneous moments, renewed energy and unforgettable conversations. Cast of the show includes - Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Navjot Singh Siddhu, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda.

Family Business starring Anil Kapoor

Netflix also unveiled Family Business, with Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma as the lead actors. The caption shared on Instagram states that the plot will revolve around the struggle between new blood and old money. Anil Kapoor, Vijay Varma, Akash Khurana, Rhea Chakraborty, Neha Dhupia, Anant Nag, Kanwaljit Singh, Dhruv Sehgal, Nandish Sandhu, Tina Desai, Rohan Mehra, Kamal Sadanah, Raima Sen, Inayat Sood, Madhoo Shah.

Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna's OTT debut Ikka announced

The biggest announcement of the evening was that superstar Sunny Deol and Dhuandhar sensation Akshaye Khanna are making OTT debuts with Ikka. The first look shows a showdown between both. It is directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and stars Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Shishir Sharma, Akansha Ranjan.

The plot of the story is intriguing - A celebrated, incorruptible lawyer is arm-twisted into defending a murder accused, a man whose career he had previously ended, pushing him to use every trick in the trade, ethical or not, to win the case because if he fails, he stands to lose everything he holds dear.

Super Subbu - The tale of the unlikeliest teacher

A totally unlucky teacher, desperate to escape his dad's tyranny, gets stuck teaching sex education in a remote and virile village! The hilarious twist? He's a virgin himself! It promises a wild ride where love, laughs, and awkward moments collide.

Sundeep Kishan, Mithila Palkar, Murali Sharma, Maanasa Choudhary, Getup Srinu make up the cast of Netflix's very first Telugu series. Super Subbu was teased during last year's slate launch too.

Dhindora 2 on Netflix

India's biggest digital creator Bhuvan Bam returns with his crazy family, and Titu Mama drags them all into a world of pride, panic, and poor planning. The season will explore if he will emerge as a hero, or crumble under mounting expectations.

The actor is also writing the show, along with Abbas Dalal, Hussain Dalal, Chetan Dange, Gopal Dutt, Shubham Dubey, Anant Dubey.

Vikrant Massey turns lover boy

Vikrant Massey stars in Musafir Cafe. It is a love story that is centered around 3 characters - Chander, Sudha, and Preeti. Three musafirs whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways. Chander and Sudha share a sudden connection that strikes like a spark, impossible to ignore. With Preeti, however, Chander builds something steadier, a bond grounded in quiet understanding and the comfort of simply being together.

The web series is based on a book of the same title, written by Divya Prakash Dubey. Vikrant Massey, Vedika Pinto, Mahima Makwana, Adil Hussain, Rajeev Siddhartha, Anubha Fatehpuria, Loveleen Mishra, Sadia Siddiqui star in the show.

Saif Ali Khan and Pratik Gandhi Star in Hum Hindustani

Ever wonder what India's first election was like and what were the challenges during that time? In Netflix’s Hum Hindustani, Saif Ali Khan and Pratik Gandhi show a newly independent India. The story revolves around a team of officials battles, resistance, and impossible odds to deliver the nation’s very first democratic election.

Inspired by true events, it is directed by Rahul Dholakia and also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Mimi Chakraborty, Sarika, Shraddha Dangar.

Hello Bachhon starring Vineet Kumar Singh

Hello Bachhon is a heartwarming story of an unassuming physics teacher who inspired millions of students across India, fighting against their circumstances to achieve their dream of becoming successful in life. Based on the true story of the famous Physics Wallah, Hello Bachhon will show how individual efforts can inspire an entire nation and its youth.

The cast of the film includes Vineet Kumar Singh, Vikram Kochhar and Girija Oak Godbole. Abhishek Yadavis the creator, while Pratish Mehta is directing it.

R Madhavan's Legacy

Faced with a prophecy of downfall and an inevitable siege Periyavar (R Madhavan), an ageing gangster, fights to save his Empire, family and most importantly - his Legacy.

The series will stream in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Abhishek Banerjee, Nimisha Sajayan, Gautham Karthik, Gulshan Devaiah also play key characters.

Saif Ali Khan returns as a cop in Kartavya

After Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan is returning as a police officer in Netflix's Kartavya. The caption accompanying the first look goes, "Dharm aur karm ke yuddh mein, kya kartavya jeet payega?".

The cast includes Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra, Saurabh Dwivedi, Manish Chaudhari and Zakir Hussain.

Taapsee Pannu as Gandhari

After Assi, Taapsee Pannu will lead Gandhari. She plays a mother who is angry and nothing can stop her. Ishwak Singh will be seen sharing the screen with her.

Takshakudu stars Anand Deverakonda, Nitanshi Goel

Laapataa Ladies star Nitanshi Goel stars in Takshakudu along with Deverakonda. This marks her Telugu debut. The film will stream in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.

The film will explore darker, folklore inspired themes, different from anything Anand or Nitanshi have done before.

Manoj Bajpayee goes rogue in Ghooshkhor Pandat

A corrupt police officer Ajay Dikshit's (Pandat), plans an eventful and money-making night, but he is disrupted as he finds himself in the midst of a global conspiracy while trying to unravel the identity of an injured girl thrown out of a moving car in the heart of Delhi.

Ritesh Shah directs the film, while Neeraj Pandey and Shah are writers. Main cast includes Manoj Bajpayee, Nushrat Bharuccha, Saqib Saleem, Akshay Oberoi and Divya Dutta.

Chumbak's family friendly comedy

Amid all the thrillers, we have a comedy. Chumkbak is about neighbours and how they support each other through thick and thin. The sweet show explores how 5 families support each other, becoming a beautiful surrogate family.

Key cast includes Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Amyra Dastur, Anant V Joshi, Sumeet Vyas, Manasi Parekh, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Sumeet Raghavan and Sandeepa Dhar.

Rajkummar Rao's Toaster

A quirky dark comedy, the plot revolves around how murder and chaos erupt when a miser becomes obsessed with a toaster he gave as a wedding gift.

With an ensemble cast featuring Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Archana Puran Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, and Farah Khan, this film is sure to be full of unexpected twists.

TV heartthrobs in Yeh Dil Sunn Raha Hai

One of the many projects announced in Netflix's lineup, Yeh Dil Sunn Raha Hai is all set to be a romantic thriller. Though no character visual was shared, it was announced by the streamer that the project will Shaheer Sheikh, Zoya Afroz and Mohit Mallik. Blurring boundaries between morality and compulsion, this is a saga where passion and love collide and boundaries between right and wrong begin to blur.

Rohit-Prajakta in Mismatched Season 4

Even after a goodbye, in its final season, Dimple and Rishi are unexpectedly thrown back into each other’s lives, reopening a love they never truly resolved.
