In her eight-decade-long career, the singer mesmerised all with her magical voice in film songs and music albums. On April 12, she passed away at the age of 92. After the news of her demise broke, several Bollywood celebrities mourned her loss and cherished their interactions and meetings with her. Now, Shah Rukh Khan has penned a note, remembering Asha ji. He shared a picture with the legend on his social media handle.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Shah Rukh Khan expressed that it's sad to learn about the legendary singer's passing. He admitted that Asha Bhosle's voice has been one of the pillars of Indian cinema and will continue to resonate world over for centuries to come. Take a look at his story below:
"A talent that will outlive many, she always showered me with blessings and love and i will miss her. Rest in Peace Asha Tai. love you," the Bollywood superstar wrote.Apart from Shah Rukh, Aamir Khan, via Aamir Khan Productions' IG handle, expressed sadness over Asha Bhosle's death. The actor mentioned that her loss is something which cannot be conveyed in words. Calling her the last of the great four, Aamir added, "Ashaji passing away marks the end of an era. She will always live with us through her songs. Her voice will always ring in our hearts. My heartfelt condolences to her family. Love and respect always."

Asha Bhosle died due to multiple organ failure
Meanwhile, Dr Pratit Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital revealed that the legendary singer passed away due to multiple organ failure. Her son, Anand Bhosle, shared that people can pay their last respects to his mom at Casa Grande in Lower Parel, Mumbai, on April 13. Asha ji's last rites will be performed tomorrow. She will be cremated with full state honours at the Shivaji Park crematorium in Mumbai.A day ago, it was reported that Asha Bhosle was admitted to hospital after she suffered a cardiac arrest. However, her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, clarified that the singer was hospitalised due to chest infection and extreme exhaustion. Unfortunately, the singer passed away today. May her soul rest in peace!
