Amid the Rs 60 crore fraud case, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has released a strong statement dismissing the allegations against him as "baseless and motivated." He clarified that

the matter is already before the High Court, with a quashing petition under consideration. The couple has denied the claims as the EOW continues to probe the money trail. Recently, a Look Out Circular (LOC) was issued against them to prevent international travel. When the couple approached the Bombay High Court seeking suspension of the LOC, the court directed them to deposit Rs 60 crore or furnish a bank guarantee.
