Patriotic series Operation Safed Sagar to premiere in 2026

On Instagram, Netflix India posted, "The world’s highest air operation in history. The highest honour. Watch Operation Safed Sagar, coming soon, only on Netflix." The Hindi series stars actors Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina, and Arnav Bhasin. Created by Abhijeet Singh Parmar and Kushal Srivastava, Operation Safed Sagar is directed by Oni Sen.

The inaugural Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon 2025 was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi and attended by serving officers, veterans, and dignitaries, including Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff. The first-look teaser, which was created with the support of the Indian Air Force, was unveiled at the marathon. Produced by Matchbox Shots and Feel Good Films, Operation Safed Sagar tells a story of the world's highest air operation conducted during the Kargil War and focuses on the heroic IAF pilots who were pushed beyond their limits. The web series was filmed extensively across operational Indian Air Force bases and features MiG aircraft and IAF personnel. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh congratulated the streamer on the launch of the series at the marathon and said of Operation Safed Sagar, "It was an air battle at the highest point and the Indian Air Force displayed highest degree of professionalism in achieving the Kargil heights.”Matchbox Shots co-founder and director Sanjay Routray added, “Operation Safed Sagar is not just about war — it’s about courage, sacrifice, and transformation.
