At the ceremony on Friday, he was joined by his wife Victoria Beckham, close friend Tom Cruise, and children Romeo, Cruz and Harper. The Hollywood star delivered a heartfelt speech celebrating his friend Beckham's achievements before the former footballer unveiled his star and posed for photographs with his family. Victoria was also seen sharing a celebratory kiss with David. Following the ceremony, Beckham, Cruise and Victoria greeted fans gathered at the venue. Notably absent were Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz, who remain estranged from the family after their public fallout.

Tom praised David, saying his life story felt like a Hollywood movie. He said Beckham had always believed in something bigger than himself, worked hard for every opportunity and went on to influence football, shape global culture and inspire future generations. Meanwhile, wife Victoria began her speech on a light-hearted note. She said that while growing up in England, she saw the Hollywood Walk of Fame as something only movie stars achieved and joked that she had expected to receive a star herself for Spice World. She then spoke about her husband's vision, determination and hard work. Victoria credited David for helping increase football's popularity around the world. She said that beyond being a sportsman, businessman and activist, he is defined by his kindness, loyalty and dedication to the people he loves.

When David addressed the audience, he called Cruise the greatest movie star of his time and revealed that his first movie date with Victoria had been
Jerry Maguire, which makes the moment feel even more special. He also thanked the actor for welcoming him and Victoria to Los Angeles nearly two decades ago and for being a loyal friend ever since.David further credited basketball legend Michael Jordan for inspiring him. He also thanked his teammates, friends and professional associates for always supporting him. He then expressed gratitude to his family, saying they had played a huge role in his journey. David also thanked his children, calling them his biggest motivation. He concluded by saying that he hoped his children would one day bring his grandchildren to see the honour and tell them about a boy who dreamed big. Brooklyn, who reportedly does not seem to be ready to reconcile with his parents, skipped the ceremony despite living just minutes away from the venue. His absence did not go unnoticed by fans.
