Ritchie's MobLand will be losing a key member of the cast if it returns for a third season. The second season of the Paramount+ series is expected to release later this year. A report stated that one of the leads of the crime drama, Tom Hardy, has been fired from the series. The actor had several issues with the producers of MobLand and they have declined to bring him back for the third season. Hardy plays a fixer named Harry Da Souza, who works for the Harrigan crime family, alongside veteran actors Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.

According to
Puck's Matt Belloni, Hardy has been fired by the producers for being constantly late to set. He also kept trying to give notes and change the dialogue on the series, clashing with producers Jez Butterworth and David Glasser. Sources also stated that the actor was not happy with the show's focus moving to other characters in the ensemble drama.
Writer and executive producer Butterworth threatened to leave the show. The actor won't be back for Season 3, should it get picked up for another instalment. This is not the first time there has been on-set tension with Hardy on a Hollywood production. Hardy was involved with disagreements with his co-stars and director on the sets of previous films

The Revenant.The crime drama was created by Ronan Bennett; filmmaker Guy Ritchie and Hardy are both executive producers on the series. After its premiere in March 2025, the streaming service renewed it for a second season in June 2025.

RocknRolla and came together for a British crime drama,
MobLand, set in London. Brosnan returns as mob boss Conrad Harrigan, with Mirren as scheming wife Maeve Harrigan. Anson Boon plays their devious grandson Eddie Harrigan. Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Alex Fine and Janet McTeer are also part of the ensemble cast.

In the Grey, Ritchie confirmed that
