Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has completed 43 years since his debut in the Kannada film industry. Taking to his social media handle, the actor has shared a throwback post while also mentioning superstars
from the industry namely Yash, Prashanth Neel and Rishab Shetty, lauding them for their blockbuster projects. For the unversed, Kapoor starred in Pallavi Anu Pallavi, released in 1983 and debut directional of Mani Ratnam. He played the role of Vijay, a young man falling in love with a slightly older woman.

Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Anil Kapoor wrote, "43 years ago, I took my first step into the Kannada film industry.From then to now, it’s incredible to see how Kannada cinema is booming and redefining Indian cinema globally."
Along with this, he mentioned acclaimed stars such as Yash, Prashanth Neel and Rishab Shetty, praising their continuous support and remarkable talent behind major box office hits like the
KGF franchise and the
Kantara film series. He wrote, "Salute to @TheNameIsYash, #PrasahanthNeel, @shetty_rishab and the teams behind KGF and Kantara for raising the bar so high. Hopefully not my last association with this amazing industry."
To this, Shetty responded with, 'We’re so proud of you, Sir! Your journey began here, and today you stand as a true legend of Indian cinema. It was an absolute honor to meet you and have such a wonderful conversation. A special mention, #PallaviAnuPallavi remains one of my favourite films."

Toxic: A Fairytale For Grownups has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is slated to release in theatres on March 19. The film stars Yash and Kiara Advani in the lead roles along with Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair.
