and Mrunal Thakur’s Valentine’s Day 2026 wedding rumour has spread like wildfire. Unverified reports claim that the actors will have an intimate marriage in the presence of family members and close industry friends. The rumoured couple is yet to respond to the rumours. In the past, Mrunal made headlines for her speculated relationship with Kumkum Bhagya co-star Arjit Taneja. Dhanush was married to Rajinikanth’s elder daughter, Aishwaryaa. After 18 years of marriage and two sons, the couple announced separation in 2022. Dhanush and Aishwaryaa confirmed their separation with a statement on social media. They were later granted a divorce legally.

Who is Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth?

Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth is the elder daughter of actor Rajinikanth and playback singer Latha Rajinikanth. She made her feature film directorial debut with Dhanush and Shruthi Haasan’s 3 (2012). The movie featured the song Why This Kolaveri Di that made the actor a national sensation. Besides Tamil cinema industry, he became a popular name in the Hindi belt as well.

Apart from direction, Aishwaryaa became a part of the film Ramanaa, as a playback singer. Her first song to be released was Natpe Natpe from Whistle (2003). In August 2016, Aishwaryaa was selected as India's goodwill ambassador for the UN Women organisation. She also has her memoir, titled Standing on An Apple Box: The Story of A Girl Among the Stars.

Aishwaryaa and Dhanush announced their separation in 2022 and filed for divorce in 2024. In an official statement on social media, they wrote, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa/Dhanush and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this (sic).”Aishwaryaa and Dhanush have two sons, Linga and Yatra, born in 2006 and 2010. They continue co-parenting the boys. While the actor is rumoured to have found love in Mrunal, she is reportedly focusing on work.
