Stranger
Things: Tales From '85 has been renewed for another season. In a surprise announcement, Netflix confirmed that more adventures were on the way, as the animated spin-off of Stranger Things got greenlit for a second season. This comes less than a week after the show premiered on the OTT platform on April 23. It notably builds on the nostalgia and emotional quotient its parent show, Stranger Things, left behind after its finale in January this year. The renewal of its spunky spin-off only proves that Netflix is not ready to move on from Hawkins and the shenanigans of its lead group.
Stranger Things: Tales From '85 renewed
On April 28, the official social media handle of Stranger Things announced the news, along with the surprise that Season 2 would be out coming this fall. "big news nerds!!! Tales From ‘85 season 2 — coming this fall!" it wrote in the caption. Netflix, in its post, wrote, "There's a haunting in Hawkins... Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85 Season 2. Coming this fall!" The streamer also shared a connecting teaser clip that showed the gang approaching an eerie hideout in the middle of the forest, suggesting that it could be a possible gate to the Upside Down.
