The toughest nut to crack after owning a PlayStation 5 is maintaining a game library - because what will you do on that alien spaceship-like console of yours if there are no games to play? And the pricing
of these titles is something that will make you question your life choices, sitting at 2:00 AM in the night playing basic level games. Now, to tackle this situation without burning a hole in my pocket of selling a kidney, here's how I have created a library for the best titles and how you can do the same. And yes, if you are here to know the hack to crack PS5, stop and leave, lad, because we are only talking about the best legal methods here, along with advice that will help you spend less and build a dope library.
PS Plus: The Only OG Subscription I Pay For After YouTube Premium
Trust me when I say that a PlayStation Plus subscription could be a game-changer while building a library with a plethora of AAA titles and whatnot. I first bought the PS Plus Deluxe and the benefits were more than insane because in the Deluxe tie, you get a vast library of titles, trials for new games, monthly games, and access to old games of PS3 and PS2. And yes, there are three tiers of subscriptions in PlayStation - PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, PS Plus Deluxe, out of which the Essential is the cheapest, and Deluxe is the most expensive one. However, you should know that in Essential, you only get access to the monthly games and in Deluxe, you get all the benefits that I mentioned above. On a regular day, the PS Plus Deluxe subscription can be brough at a price of Rs 849 per month, 2,299 per quarter, and 7,599 per year. And if you want a bigger discount, then wait for Black Friday, because I purchased the yearly Deluxe subscription for Rs 5,399. As for the Return of investment, games like GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption, Last of Part 1, Part 2, Mortal Kombat 1, and a lot more to mention here for free with the PS Plus Deluxe and I don't think you need anymore proof than that.
Avoid Day 1 Purchases
Last year, EA Sports FC 26 launched in September, and the Standard Edition was available at a price of Rs 4,999. Now, I held my horses because I knew in just a couple of months, the game would be available at dirt cheap prices, and my hunch was true. Just after a couple of months, the game was available on the PS Store at a whopping 50% discount. And that's the story of almost all the games (I hate you, Ghost of Yotei) except a few titles. So, make day 1 purchases only for games that you can't resist, for example, I am going to bin all the principles I am talking about here the day Marvel's Wolverine drops. Black Friday And Other Sales: The Only Derby My Wallet Is Scared OfYou will always get to see different kinds of sales running on the PlayStation store. Now, sometimes you get good games here, and sometimes you get games that you will not download even if they are free. The best time to buy games at a discount is when the Black Friday sales hit. I really made the biggest purchases like PS Plus Deluxe yearly membership, EA FC 26, and Spider-Man 2, in the Black Friday Sale.
On A Concluding Note
The key to building a decent library without spending all the money you have is patience. Don't chase all the day one releases and but yes don't miss out on the games that you have been waiting for since ages. Striking a balance between what you want and what you need will make your library grow without hurting your finances. And trust me, purchase that PS Plus subscription as soon as you can.
