2 actors Neena Gupta and Sanjay Mishra recently joined Times Now Group Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar for an exclusive interview. In this conversation, the actors discussed various phases of their personal and professional journeys. Neena also reflected upon raising a child alone. The veteran actress and former West Indies cricketer had a child, daughter Masaba, out of wedlock. The Vadh 2 actress mentioned that it was a tough decision to raise a child single handedly and discussed the challenges she faced. Having said that, Neena recalled why she advised people against it in her earlier media interviews.
Neena Gupta on raising a child alone
During an exclusive interaction, Neena admitted, "It takes a lot of courage and you have to face a lot of problems. For example, to raise a child alone.. I am an actor, so I have to work physically. (I have to think about) where will I keep the child? Who will I hand over the child to? I didn't even get time to go to the parlour. It is a very tough decision to take."
The Vadh 2 actress added that when one is young, they make certain decisions, which they might not in an older age. The senior actress further recalled what she advised people in her old media interviews. She further said, "In fact, I always said in my interviews at that time, please don't do it because Neena Gupta has done it." And that's because her circumstance were different. "My father came and lived with me. He took care of my house. Aapka shayad support system na ho aisa. It is a very tough decision. You will have to make a lot of sacrifices much more than a normal mother does. So, I always used to say that," recalled

Neena Gupta admits she is scared of daughter Masaba
Continuing the conversation, the veteran actress revealed she is scared of her daughter Masaba. "I'm afraid of two people in the world. Number one, God, and number two, Masaba. I'm very afraid of them. I have to be very afraid of children. Because they are ahead of us in many things." Neena added that she is also afraid of posting things on social media because Masaba often tells her to delete them. And she does it.
Talking about her personal front, the Vadh 2 actress is happily married to Vivek Mishra since 2008. Masaba, on the other hand, is married to actor Satyadeep Mishra. They are blessed with a cute daughter, Matara.
