Kim Dong-Wook is set to welcome his first child with wife Stella Kim, a former SM Entertainment trainee. Kim, known for K-dramas like Seoul Busters, Delightfully Deceitful, Coffee Prince, and more, tied the knot with Stella in December 2023.On November 24, Kim Dong-Wook's agency Studio Yoohoo confirmed the couple's pregnancy to Star Korean media. "The couple is expecting their first child. Stella Kim is pregnant and is due early next year," the company aid, according to Soompi.

Stella Kim is a Korean American. The former SM Entertainment trainee was once close to debuting as a member of Girls' Generation in 2007. She trained as part of the original lineup of the K-pop group, but later returned to the United States due to her parents' opposition. After graduating from New York University, she has been active as a marketer for a global cosmetics brand as well as a writer.
