BTS Jungkook REVEALS 'First Love' Story At 13, And Why He Couldn't Confess; Jimin, ARMYs Have Meltdown - 'If It Was Today...'

BTS member Jungkook, whose dating controversy with aespa's Winter refuses to end, opened up about his first love to fellow bandmate Jimin, and the clip has now gone viral. 'Jikook' as fans call them, are

currently seen in their travel reality show, Are You Sure?! Season 2 which premiered on Disney+ (JioHotstar in India) on December 3. In its latest episode 3, during a candid conversation about life, Jungkook shared a lot more than ARMYs expected.

Jungkook's story of first love

Jungkook recalled how during his early days as a trainee, when he went on a month-long programme to the US, he met a girl who was his first love. "The first time I ever liked someone who wasn't Korean was when I went to the US for that month-long trainee program," Jungkook begins.

Jimin asks him whether it was class 9th. "8th grade" Jungkook corrects him. The Seven hitmaker then goes on, "A girl was there for dance lesson like me. She was also very young. A student like me. At first I thought she was really pretty. Then I started seeing her really often. Then the dance teacher told me 'Jungkook, go talk to her at just once! But I was like, 'How? I don't even speak English'." Jimin, who kept giggling and gushing hearing the story all this while, asks Jungkook, "But if it were now?" He replies with confidence, "Maybe I would go for it. I'll say 'Hello I like you!'"

Fans have not stopped reacting on social media, ever since they saw the episode and Jungkook's candid confessions. An ARMY wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Young love stories like this feel so pure it shows how genuine moments shape the person he became." Another fan gushed, "Love how casually and comfortably Jungkook shared that he had a crush on a girl back in the US. He said that if it were today, he would’ve approached her but back then, he didn’t know enough English to communicate properly. He’s grown up so well, and so has his confidence."
