Instagram is officially rolling out the Instants app, which could be dubbed a new disappearing photo-sharing tool. The feature has been designed to make photo sharing more casual by letting users send quick photos that disappear after being viewed and can no longer be accessed after a window of 24 hours. The launch indicates that Instagram is continuing its transition to being more private and real with high social interactions. Users can take photos in real time and share it with their Close Friends list or followers they follow back. However, the application has its fare share of limitations, like the users cannot upload photos from their gallery or edit images before sending them. Apart from that, the users are only allowed to add a caption, which makes Instant close to raw and authentic as compared to the regular posting on Instagram. After being shared, the Instants appear as a small stack of photos inside users' inboxes. Friends of the users can react with emojis, send their own instant message back, or reply. And yes, recipients cannot screenshot or screen record the shared photos. That's not it, as the tool has features like Undo, which allows the users to unsend an Instant before it is opened, and Snooze, which temporarily stops incoming Instant notifications.
