She wore a beautiful white satin gown, and completed her look with sleek bun, emerald and diamond jewellery. For the unversed, the Women in Cinema gala highlights the contributions of female actors, creators, directors and executives to the entertainment industry. The six women who were honoured at the event are - Tara, Kamila Andani, Marie-Clementine Dusabejambo, Aixa Kay, Genevieve Nnaji, and Laïla Marrakchi.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Tara stated that she stayed true to her personal aesthetic while her thinking of her different looks for Cannes 2026 and Women in Cinema Gala. The actress admitted she had lots of thoughts in her mind about how she wanted to present herself and represent the industry and her journey.
She further expressed excitement to speak about Indian cinema on global stage. "There’s a lot of love for India at Cannes. It’s amazing to see so much Indian talent here this year," she said. Tara mentioned that things like Cannes and Women in Cinema gala don't happen everyday. And that's why it is essential for her to absorb all the energy around. She further hoped to bump into someone and have conversation with any person from the industry.
