Dhurandhar BREAKS Dangal's 6-Year Record With Highest Week 2 Collection; Surpasses Rajinikath's 2.0, Parabhs' Salaar

Box Office Collection: Dhurandhar has recorded the biggest-ever second week collection in Hindi cinema. Ranveer Singh's portrayal of India's undercover spy sgent in Pakistan is receiving a huge round of applause from the audience. Infact, Aditya Dhar has thoroughly managed to establish himself as a bankable director. After National Award winning Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), Dhar's latest Dhurandhar is a wildfire at the box office. So much so, that despite releasing on December 5, it refuses to slow down.

Dhurandhar crosses Rs 400 crore

Dhurandhar is currently in its second week, and breaking records by the day. The movie, also starring Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera and Saumya Tandon, crossed Rs 400 crore on Day 12. The total box office collection of Dhurandhar stood at Rs 411.25 crore by the end of Tuesday, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.After registering the highest-ever second Saturday collection in Bollywood in its second weekend, the film has already collected a net total to Rs 204 crore before the close of its second-week. This makes Dhurandhar the only Hindi film to cross the Rs 200 crore mark in its Week 2. If its current pace at the ticketing counters is anything to go by, Dhurandhar is expected to end its second week with even higher numbers as compared to its first week (Rs 207.25 crore). Dhurandhar's 'dhobi pachad' to Dangal

This puts Dhurandhar at another solid position. It has become the seventh Bollywood film ever to reach Rs 400 crore net in domestic collections. It even surpassed Dangal's lifetime collection of Rs 387 crore net on Tuesday, grabbing the record of the Hindi film to hold the highest Bollywood domestic earnings, which was until now with the Aamir Khan film. Dhurandhar has also overtaken Prabhas starrer Salaar (Rs 406 crore) and Rajinikanth's 2.0 (Rs 407 crore).Earlier this week, Dhurandhar crossed Rs 550 crore at the world box office getting ranked No. 4 at the US box office in its Week 2.
