Alia Bhatt Celebrates 'Magic Of Movies' At Red Sea Film Festival, Alpha Co-Star Sharvari Calls Her 'Prettiest'

Alia Bhatt has had a busy shoot schedule in recent weeks. Taking a quick break from movie sets, the actress travelled to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia to attend the Red Sea International Film Festival 2025. Amid

a hectic day, she treated fans to some stunning pictures in a black gown.

Alia wore a black gown with intricate details and kept her hair open. Completing her look with a diamond-studded necklace, the actress opted for soft glam. Sharing pictures on Instagram, Alia wrote, “A day in Jeddah, celebrating the magic of the movies.” Her mother, Soni Razdan, commented, “Ooooh la la. La la la la la.” Alia’s Alpha co-star Sharvari’s comment read, “Prettiesssst (sic)”

Alpha release date

While Alia is currently shooting for Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, she will begin 2026 with Alpha on April 17. The spy-thriller was scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release, but due to pending post-production work, it has been shifted to next year. An official statement from Yash Raj Films read, "Alpha is an extremely special film for us and we want to present the film in its most cinematic self. We have realised that the VFX will take a little longer than what we had initially assumed. We want to leave no stone unturned to make Alpha into a theatrical experience for everyone to cherish. Thus, we will now release the film on April 17, 2026.”The trade analyst added, "Alpha team wants to put out the best film for audiences to enjoy. It is a fair move by YRF. This was brewing as the VFX team was under a lot of pressure with regards to timelines which was seeming unrealistic. So, the push of release date is due to this only and not because of the current cluttered release window from Avatar to the end of January 2026. There is significant work pending and that’s why Alpha is releasing in April and not February."Besides Alia and Sharvari, Alpha stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. A glimpse was teased in the post-credits scene of War 2 earlier this year.
