Hrithik made his Bollywood debut with Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai and he not only stole hearts with his acting but also stunned with his mesmerising dance prowess. Choreographer-director Farah Khan, who was a dance director on the film, in an earlier interview, recalled an unforgettable moment that marked the beginning of Hrithik’s journey to becoming a dance icon.

In a conversation with Radio Nasha Official, Farah said, "Hrithik Roshan, who is the son of Rakesh Roshan, never revealed to us that he was such a good dancer. He was very quiet. We were practising to a normal song — I think it was Sitaron Ki Mehfil."

Further, she added, "We were getting bored, so I told my assistant, Pappu, to choreograph the most difficult steps and ask Hrithik to perform them. I told him, ‘Tell him ma’am (referring to me) has instructed this.’ My assistant, Pappu, showed him the steps, and we waited for Hrithik to react — thinking he would say, ‘I can’t do this’ and then we would all laugh."

"He looked at Pappu and did the whole thing effortlessly. It was like a joke on us! I jokingly told him, ‘Tu ghar jaa aur do din baad aana (Go home and come back after two days).' We re-choreographed the entire thing, including every move that anyone could do, and he not only performed it but did it better than all of us," Khan shared with a mix of admiration and pride.

Professional Front

On the work front, Hrithik will next be seen in Krrish 4. Currently in pre-production, this highly anticipated superhero sequel is expected to begin filming in early 2026. Notably, Hrithik is reported to be making his directorial debut with this film, which may feature him in a triple role involving time travel. A tentative release date is aimed for 2027.
