Harish Shankar attended the pre-release event of Thiruveer’s
Paapam Prathap on April 11. At the event, the anchor addressed him by saying, 'Papam Harish Shankar.' Reacting to this, the director shared, "When the anchor addressed me as 'Papam Harish Shankar, I thought she was referring to the reception of my previous film which didn't meet expectations. But then I realised she is addressing everyone like that because of the film's title and it is part of the promotions."
Ustaad Bhagat Singh OTT release details
The action drama is now set for its OTT debut, giving audiences another chance to watch it from home after its theatrical run. The film stars Pawan Kalyan as the lead, along with Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna, while R. Parthiban, KS Ravikumar, Nawab Shah, Rao Ramesh and Jayaprakash appear in key supporting roles. The director of the film, Harish Shankar also developed the story, while the film has been co-written by Dasaradh and Ramesh Reddy. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with Thaman S handling the background score, while Ayananka Bose and Karthika Srinivas take care of cinematography and editing.
The story follows a boy raised by a compassionate teacher in tribal Andhra Pradesh, who recognises his courage and names him Bhagat Singh, shaping his outlook on life. His life changes dramatically when a threat is made against the chief minister, who was once his mentor. All this takes place when he gets the post of a righteous police officer who cares a lot about honesty and staying true to his duties.
