Legendary film director Bharathiraja was hospitalised in Chennai a few days ago after complaining of breathlessness. The 84-year-old filmmaker was rushed to MGM Healthcare, where he is currently being treated by a team of doctors. The medical centre has issued a statement confirming that his condition is stable and that he will continue to receive treatment in the Critical Care Unit.Following this, several prominent filmmakers from the Tamil film industry visited the veteran director.
