Ayushmann Khurrana Calls Sooraj Barjatya Film With Sharvari 'Simple': Prem Is Green Flag | EXCL

but with modern attributes. In an exclusive interview with Zoom after the success of his latest release Thamma, Ayushmann said he would like to explore a role similar to Prem in the future as well.

When asked whether he would return to the soft rom-com zone like Bareilly Ki Barfi in future, Ayushmann said, “You will be actually surprised that in Sooraj Barjatya’s film, the world is simpler and softer. Prem is that character who is simple, soft and a green flag. As per reports, the film was earlier titled Prem Ki Shaadi. Now, a Mid-Day report revealed that the romantic family entertainer is named Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The film went on floors in Mumbai on November 1 and social media was flooded with pictures of Ayushmann and Sharvari shooting at Kandivali railway station. As reported by Mid Day, the production is now entering a 60-day start-to-finish schedule, focused on capturing the core drama and family sequences. Indoor sets have been built across three floors of Mehboob Studios to maintain creative continuity and preserve the emotional flow of the story. A crew member told Mid-Day, “The team plans to wrap up by January 2026. About 80% of the film will be shot indoors at Mehboob, with only a few outdoor patch portions. The aim is to ensure the emotional graph of the story is captured seamlessly.” The film will be produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films. The release date is yet to be locked. While Ayushmann is also busy with Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, Sharvari will be next seen in YRF Spy Universe’s first female-led film, Alpha, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol, in 2026.
