Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and singer Keith Urban have officially finalised their divorce after 19 years of marriage. As per reports, the duo also agreed to waive off any claims to alimony and child
support while officially getting divorced. For the unversed, Nicole and Keith have two daughters, Faith (15) and Sunday (17). Nicole and Keith’s divorce was finalised on January 6 in Nashville court. They had announced their separation three months ago. The reason behind Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s divorce is irreconcilable differences between them. The court has granted Nicole and Keith numbers of days to spend time with their daughters.
Nicole Kidman-Keith Urban Are DIVORCED
According to People Magazine, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have mutually waived off alimony and child support clauses. Each person is responsible for their own legal fees and expenses. The court has directed Nicole and Keith to behave lovingly with their kids after their divorce. The agreement stated, “They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent. They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.” The court has also granted Nicole 306 days to spend time with her daughters, Faith and Sunday.
The actress’ house will be their primary residence. Meanwhile, Keith Urban was granted 59 days out of the year to spend time with their daughters. He has been allowed to spend every other weekend from 10 am on Saturday morning to 6 pm on Sunday evening. The ex-couple will have joint responsibility for major decisions regarding their daughters’ lives. Talking about Nicole Kidman, the actress was earlier married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. She got married to Keith Urban in 2006.
